• Bio.

I moved to Longview, Texas at the age of eight years old, graduating from Pine Tree High School in 1993. I then attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, and received my B.A. in 1997. After graduating from college,

I attended graduate school at the University of Texas at Tyler and received an M.B.A. in 1999. After earning my M.B.A., I attended Baylor Law School in Waco, Texas, and received my J.D. in 2003. While at Baylor, I was recognized as the third best overall speaker in the Dawson, Sodd and Beard Moot Court Competition and was a member of the Order of Barristers.

I returned to Longview after completing law school and immediately went to work for Brown McCarroll, where I primarily did litigation defense work for Ford Motor Company, General Electric, and Kelly Moore. I then took a position with Bunt & Wright, another Longview firm, where I continued to develop as a litigator while working on matters for Eastman Chemical Company, local businesses, and various East Texas churches. I also began to utilize my M.B.A. by expanding my expertise to include transactional matters, such as employment consulting, business entity formation, and estate planning. In 2007, I partnered to form the law firm of Hill & Holt, PLLC. in Longview, Texas, where I continued to develop my practice, including the prosecution of claims on behalf of those who had been personally injured. On June 1, 2014, I left that firm to form my own firm, where I continue to work on an eclectic blend of matters for both companies and individuals throughout East Texas.
